Swedish Massage. This is a gentle form of massage that uses long strokes, kneading and deep circular movements to help relax and energize you. Swedish massage is also very effective at helping to increase circulation and reducing swelling. Swedish can be applied at both lighter and deeper pressures. The primary objective of Swedish massage is to allow the client to feel completely relaxed and nurtured during the session and to leave feeling calmed and rejuvenated.

Deep Tissue Massage. This massage technique uses slower, focused and deeper strokes to target deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to help with muscle tension and damage. Deep tissue can be effectively applied without pain by therapists who are proficient in this modality of massage. Primary objectives include relaxation, decreased pain from muscle tension and injury and increased range of motion.

Sea Salt  With Aromatherapy Foot Scrub $30. Salt scrubs can be used to rejuvenate the feet, enhance their look and feel and relieve pressure and pain. By incorporating foot reflexology and assisted fascial stretching, our foot treatments can help with numerous issues extending far beyond your feet.  Relieve tired, achy feet and help to remove dead skin while nourishing the skin with this 100% organic spa treatment. The most important part of a good exfoliating foot scrub is the exfoliating ingredient. We use a course grade wild salt scrub that is infused with an organic extra virgin olive oil. After exfoliating, wrapping and cleaning your feet with copious hot towels, we apply an organic shea based African body butter for the utmost in foot nourishing and hydrating. Finally, we carefully apply professional level foot reflexology and fascial stretching to leave you and your feet walking on air. Note: 90 to 120 minute sessions only

Sports Massage. This is similar to Swedish massage, but geared toward people involved in sports activities to help prevent or treat injuries. Primary objectives include relaxation, decreased pain from muscle tension and injury, increased range of motion, increased flexibility, enhanced circulation and reduced swelling.

Trigger Point Massage. This massage focuses on areas of tight muscle fibers that can form in your muscles after injuries or overuse. Trigger point effectively targets muscle fibers and bundles that are restricted to relax the surrounding fascia layers and increase local circulation.

Prenatal Massage. This is another gentle form of massage that also uses long strokes, kneading and deep circular movements to help relax and energize you. Prenatal massage is performed in the side-lying or supine (on the back) positions to protect mother and baby. Prenatal massage is also very effective at helping to increase circulation which can become compromised during pregnancy. The primary objective of prenatal massage is to allow the client to feel safe, relaxed and nurtured during the session and to leave feeling calmed, rejuvenated and free of discomfort. Additional focuses with prenatal massage may include relieving pressure in the back, hips, knees and ankles with gentle stretching.

Assisted Stretching and Neuromuscular Facilitation. Stretching has benefits similar to massage. It gets the blood flowing to overactive muscles that have contracted because of stress or immobility. Without regular stretching, muscles can spasm and shorten. Regular stretching improves your flexibility and range of motion, keeping your joints more fluid and making them less injury prone. Stretching for the entire body can be performed by itself as a complete session or added to your massage. Assisted full body stretching is passive and static stretching performed for you by your therapist. All major muscle groups are targeted with full body stretching and our clients are typically fully clothed (loose and flexible clothing). Assisted stretching is also great for helping clients identify restricted muscle groups.

Aromatherapy. (Add On Service. See Below For Rates) Aromatherapy is the practice of using natural oils extracted from flowers, bark, stems, leaves, roots or other parts of a plant to enhance psychological and physical well-being. The inhaled aroma from “essential” oils is widely believed to stimulate brain function. Essential oils can also be absorbed through the skin where they travel through the bloodstream and can promote whole-body healing. A form of alternative medicine, aromatherapy is gaining momentum. It is used for a variety of applications, including pain relief, mood enhancement and increased cognitive function. We offer a wide number of essential oils, each with its own healing properties. These essential oils are added to the product used for your massage (oil, cream or lotion) and inhaled directly during your session.
